You are heartily invited to “The Prerequisites for Change and Development” by Kim von Weissenberg on Thursday 3.3 at 6pm.
Much of the background for the presentation is to be found in Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies by Jared Diamond, 1997 

Kim will present the basic conditions for change and development in human societies and invite all to join the debate.

You are kindly reminded that General Elections in Finland are approaching fast.

The talk will be in English but questions in Finnish and Swedish are welcome.

Kim von Weissenberg

Kim von Weissenberg is a retired forestry professor from the University of Helsinki and has done research on tree breeding at the research station of the Finnish Forest Research Institure in Suonenjoki and has also worked as an associate professor of forest protection at the University of Joensuu.
Kim von Weisssenberg does not belong to any political party and is not politically active.
