Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to Thanks mummy for your love! OR Neurobiological basis of learning and general health disparities: a
correlation between perinatal maternal care and child development
by Olaya Llano Sánchez on Tuesday 9.4 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

Olaya will discuss ongoing research on how maternal care (physical care and contact) around the time of birth and early childhood affects the child’s abilities to learn and their general health.

She will give a general overview on the brain and the learning process, suitable for all audiences. She will focus on the learning at a molecular level (i. e. the changes that happen in certain molecules and structures in the brain when we learn), her particular field of research.

Welcome!

Warm regards,

Ian
