Warm regards,

Walter Wolff (1981) has previously released three cd’s with his jazz trio. In 2012, just a week after his last jazz cd was recorded, his left hand and arm were rendered unusable due to a neurological illness. He had to give up piano playing and began composing modern classical music instead. This is his first cd as a classical composer.

Merel Junge (1984) is a violinist from the Netherlands. She is a versatile musician who plays regularly with world class orchestras both classical music with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, modern music with Asko Schönberg Ensemble as well as experimental pop music with Spinvis.

Together Walter and Merel have performed in several ensembles, and Merel is now a regular performer of Walters music and has premiered many of them. The solo violin piece General Impression, Size and Shape, which she will perform at the release occasion is also written for and dedicated to her.
