Across Africa with Juha Vakkuri on Monday 26.10 at 6pm
Dear friend of Arkadia,
The bookshop is happy to welcome writer Juha Vakkuri on Monday 26.10 at 6pm!
Juha Vakkuri has kindly accepted to tell us about his brand-new travel book Afrikan poikki ( Across Africa) which is based on his extraordinary trip across the continent. Vakkuri ‘s journey took him from Dakar to Djibouti in January – March this year. He travelled by bush-taxis and buses, froze in a tent in Timbuktu, got stranded in the sands of the Sahara and even caught a glimpse of George Clooney in Chad.
