You are invited to a Beginners Photo-reportage that will begin 14.1.2013 at 6.30pm.

The Beginners Photo-reportage Course will start on 14th January, from 6.30 to 8pm at Arkadia International Bookshop (Nervanderinkatu 11)

It’s open to people of any age, who love photography and would like to learn through a practical and experimental approach. You don’t need very professional and expensive equipment, just an analogical or digital reflex camera, and 2 memory sticks.

The other dates are 28/1, 11/2, 25/2, 11/3, 25/3, 8/4, 22/4, 13/5, 27/5 2013

Lessons will take place on Mondays from 6.30pm to 8 pm
The fee for the full course (10 sessions) is 200 euros.

The course aims at teaching you how to tell a story through images. It can be any kind of story: from a football-match to a party.

Programme:
Composition, Henri Cartier-Bresson, film speed, lenses, shutter speed and F numbers, portraits, environmental portraits, movement, panning, light, color, street photography, Robert Frank, James Nachtwey, pictures in a sequence: how to build a story.

A reportage of 36 photos will be required at every lesson.
