Biologist Sedeer El-Showk will present and discuss evolution Saturday 16.5 at 16:00

Dear friend of Arkadia,

To celebrate Darwin’s bicentennial, we would like to launch our popular science series with a presentation and discussion of evolution at the bookshop Saturday 16.5 at 16:00.

William F. McComas suggests that evolution is “the most important, most misunderstood and most maligned” subject in modern biology, but is he right?

We are happy to welcome biologist Sedeer El-Showk who will provide a basic overview of the modern view of evolution and its historical development, as well as addressing its role in modern biology and relevance to our lives.

Welcome to all!

Warm regards,

Ian

Entrance is free and green tea will be served. A 2€ donation is suggested and would be welcome!
