Short Bio: The Cocoon Quintet was formed in 2013 by four friends studying classical music performance at the Sibelius Academy. Lauma Ilsuma (flute, Latvia), Saku Mattila (oboe, Finland), Lucy Abrams (clarinet, USA), Alexis Routley (horn, Australia), and Laura Clewer (bassoon, Finland) join forces to explore both the well- and lesser-known woodwind quintet repertoire. The result is a unique musical experience that offers a symphonic variety of sounds in an intimate chamber music setting
