Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to ‘The Power of Art in Societal Transformation’ on Friday 10.8 at 7pm at New Arkadia (Dagmarinkatu 5) with curator Marita Muukkonen, actress and consultant Chrissie Tiller (from the UK), ACSI resident artist and professor in
visual arts Sebastian Mahaluf (from Chile) and artist Anja Puntari (from Italy / Finland). The talk will be moderated by Krista Petäjäjärvi.

The discussion will revolve around the creation of visions, utopias and dreams in art. Art being perceived as a true resource of societal transformation.

This event is organized in collaboration with Aalto Camp for Societal Innovation ACSI, an international pilot project and innovation platform which includes artists and art based working methods, and indeed explores art in the creation of societal innovations.
