Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to ‘Where is Ophelia?’ by Debi Wong (Canadian vocalist) and James Andean (Musician and sound artist) on Saturday 14.9 at 8pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

After suffering the loss of her father, Polonius, and the rejection of her lover, Hamlet, Ophelia begins to lose her sense of self and reality. This unconventional performance depicts Ophelia’s descent in to madness through ballads and texts from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and original soundscapes.
