You are invited to a concert by Dee Kourtsman and Igor Lisov on Friday 17.6 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)
Dee and Igor often collaborate, both in studio and on stage. In 2015, together with other Russian artists, they created “Piece in time of war”, an anti-war athem that become popular on Russian YouTube. This time they are going to perform together again and it means that audience should be ready to surprises.

Dee Kourtsman is an indie folk guitarist, singer and a songwriter. He started as a singer, guitarist and mandolin player in a Russian folk-rock band The Dartz. His current set includes songs and instrumental guitar pieces almost entirely written in Finland. Dee’s music is partly Celtic, partly Russian, partly a meditation of the city located by the northern sea. Dee Kourtsman performs again at ARKADIA International bookstore, bringing new music as well as pieces from “Islands by bycicle” album which songs recently got broadcasted on Yle Areena radio.
Igor Lisov is a true singing minstrel of XXI century. Flutes, guitar, bouzouki are his main instruments. He’s often seen peforming on streets and various festivals. Igor is a leader of Green Sleeves, one of the first Russian folk bands that started playing Celtic and Renaissance music, steadily developing folk-rock sound that puts them in the same row with Fairport Convention and Pentangle.
