Dear friend of Arkadia, You are heartily invited to a recital by “Satamakadun Seireen” on Friday 20.1 at 7pm. “Satamakadun Seireen” is a dulcet and colourful ensemble that consists of three women voices and a guitar. Their repertoire consists mostly of old melodies, first performed by such groups as the Harmony sisters, the Andrew’s sisters and Metrotytöt. Pauliina Savolainen, Oona & Laura Airola started to sing together some five years ago, first in different theatre plays. After that they’ve been showing up in various events and places as an independent group. This time they´ll be accompanied by musician and writer Miika Snåre. The name of the group comes from the main street of the neighbourhood where the girls started to sing together. It’s located in the harbour of Kokkola, Ykspihlaja. Welcome!
