Expanding perception: understanding ourselves to connect with the world by Elina Mikkola
Is our perception really mirroring the reality or is it just mirroring who we are?
Our thoughts define what we perceive and our perception defines our reality.
But do we really stop to observe what enters in our field of perception and what doesn´t?
In this talk, using exercises from systemic therapy and neurolinguistic programming, we will dive into in the world of perceptions. We will observe our bodies and our minds as perceiving entities. Are we actually conscious of the information that we emit and what we receive? Where do we direct our attention? What becomes important for us? What is it that we let pass? Does our perception capture reality or does it just mirror who we are?
