Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to an intimate concert with Danish clarinet and bass clarinet player Benjamin Bech on Friday 8.11 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11).

Benjamin has been called an innovative artist in the Nordic Folk Music world. He is known for his very personal clarinet sound and the fearless way he endeavours to move traditional music to a more abstract level.

Benjamin Bech

These last years he has been travelling around the Nordic countries collecting inspiration, friendships, emotions and folk music.

This Solo concert consists of stories and music from his journey and will lead you from the large forests of Finland to the Icelandic nature with almost no trees at all.

You will meet Swedish Spelman, Norwegian trolls and feel the special moment where night and day meet and silence and space give peace to the
mind.
