Dear friend of Arkadia, You are heartily invited to a recital by Barbora Hilpo (viola) and Marko Hilpo (piano) on Monday 12.9 at 6pm. Barbora and Marko Hilpo started playing together four years ago when they were both studying at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid. Barbora with Diemut Poppen and Nils Mönkemeyer, and Marko with Dmitri Bashkirov and Claudio Martinez Mehner. They have performed as a duo in many places in Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic. Both are prize winners of several international competitions. Barbora and Marko were awarded the “Sobre saliente” prize for the best student handed personally by the Spanish Queen. They have lived together in Helsinki for two years.
