Monday 14.2 at 6pm: Valentine’s Day poetry recital by students of Snellman-korkeakoulu!
Dear friend of Arkadia,
You are heartily invited to a poetry recital by speech and drama students of Snellman-korkeakoulu on Valentine’s day, Monday 14.2 at 6 pm!To suit the day, the main theme is – naturally – love. The audience will enjoy poems mainly by 20th century Finnish authors, but a few poems will also be read in English.
Here is a selection of the poets whose works will be read: Aale Tynni, Eino Leino, L. Onerva, Saima Harmaja, Eila Kivikk’aho and William Blake.The ecstasies and agonies of love will also be expressed in songs inspired by poems.
It promises to be a wonderful evening, what better way to start the week?

Poetry is the language of the heart, and the performers strive to speak this language with sincerity, sensitivity and force. You are most welcome to take part in this intimate, heartfelt exploration of the mysteries of love!
