The presentation is open to people who are interested on this vast and old topic which tackle the basic questions : who are we? Where do we come from? Where are we going?

Charles Thomas, medical physicist, completed a PhD in radiobiology at Institut Gustave Roussy in Paris, then a two year postdoctoral training at Oxford university. He now holds a permanent position as a scientist at Inserm, the National Health Institute for France. He joined the radiobiology group in 2005 (www.radiobiology.fr). Their main research topic is low dose response to ionising radiation, and interest in the psychosomatic hypothesis on cancer.

The last 20 years Charles Thomas has also practiced the spiritual sciences of raja yoga to approach Reality through meditation.

The presentation shows the points of divergence and convergence between these two approaches to Reality. He used quantum physics to study the relationship between matter and conscience. The presentation includes video film extracts from scientists and spirituals masters to illustrate the topic.
