How is the situation for the homeless in Helsinki? Who becomes homeless and why? And how should society help the homeless?

Two of the contributors to the recent Ny Tid theme issue on housing, Astrid Stenius-Ayoade and Mia Haglund will discuss these topics together with Fredrik Sonck, chief editor of Ny Tid.

The discussion will be in Swedish.

Med anledning av Ny Tids temanummer om boende (Ny Tid Nr 15-16 2014) diskuteras bostadslöshet vid ett diskussionstillfälle på Arkadia Bookshop måndagen den 28 april.

I diskussionen deltar Agnes Stenius-Ayoade, läkare som arbetat med bostadslösa, och lokalpolitikern Mia Haglund, Vänsterförbundet. Stenius-Ayoade berättade om sitt arbete och dess utmaningar i Ny Tids temanummer, medan Mia Haglund medverkade med en kolumn.

Hur ser situationen ut för bostadslösa i Helsingfors? Vem blir bostadslös, och varför? Och hur kunde samhället bäst hjälpa de bostadslösa? Det är några av frågorna. Diskussionen börjar klockan 17.00 och modereras av Ny Tids chefredaktör Fredrik Sonck. Arrangör är Ny Tids understödsförening Tigern
