Anni Collan is a Finnish pianist and pedagogue. 2014 she graduated with top grades from the Folkwang University in Essen where she studied with the renowned Finnish pianist prof. Henri Sigfridsson. Currently she’s finishing her Master studies at the Sibelius-Academy under the guidance of another remarkable Finnish pianist Paavali Jumppanen.
Anni placed third in the biggest national piano competition in Jyväskylä last year and has been rewarded in several smaller competitions in Finland. 2014 she also received the Pro Musica -grant and a scholarship to attend the prestigious Mendelssohn-Academy in Leipzig.
Anni has performed with the Sigyn Sinfonietta in Turku and on their Baltic Tour 2006, and with Jyväskylä Sinfonia 2014. She was the debutant of the Pianoaura-festival in Turku 2009.
In her spare time Anni is studying to become a yoga teacher.
