You are invited to Helsinki Art Jam on Saturday 26.9. at 1pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11).

Helsinki Art Jam is calling all artists, musicians, dancers, singers…. and, well, everyone!

Join us for the Helsinki Art Jam, a monthly event that brings together all kinds of creative people. Write a song, draw, dance, sing, make origami, whatever you like.

The Art Jam is the perfect place for everyone to get inspired, collaborate, or take up the challenge to create something based on this month’s theme: CELEBRATION.

Bring along your own art and music gear, and other creative toys.

This event is open to the public, and all are welcome! Bring your friends!

– Entrance is free but a donation of €3 (or more!) to fund the event is suggested and would be most welcome. If you have no loose change or coins we gladly accept payment via Visa Electron or Mastercard etc. !

Who’s it for?
Everyone with an interest in creativity! No need to be a professional artist or musician, or even to have tried anything “arty” before. So long as you’re interested to try something creative — drawing, painting, music-making, paper-plane folding, singing, face-painting, potato-stamping… really, anything goes!

What’s it like?
It’s very casual, very free-form, and anything can happen. No two Art Jams are quite alike.

What do you need to bring?
Bring along some art supplies, but don’t stress if you don’t have much to start with. Most other Jammers are pretty friendly and willing to share and swap materials.

How long does it go for?
It depends on the people! You can drop in for just a short visit, or plan to spend a few hours with us.

Why should you go?
Because it’s fun! You can meet new people, try new things, share ideas, and create.
