Robotea
Many sci-fi authors have anticipated on today’s robotic innovations, to start with the creation of the word ”robot” itself and economists, with their own analytical instruments, have tried to forecast the impact of technology and innovation in our daily lives. It is thus very natural to turn to both sci-fi and economical literature to envision where we stand and where to we are heading as human beings and as communities of people considering more and more of our tasks are taken over by robots/technology.
Our first introductory meeting – with some robots in action – will take place 28th September 13:00 – 15:00. We will cover three books chosen to start the ROBOTEA Cory Doctorow “Little Brother”, Erik Brynjolfsson & Andrew Mc Afee “Race against the machine”, Isaac Asimov “the robots series”. There will also be a signature of Jari Kaivo-Oja&Cristina Andersson “BohoBusiness” book.
