The Haunted Man is a one man show, created by American actor Michael Bierman, it shows the humor, sorrow, and madness of Vincent Van Gogh from his childhood till the age of 27 when he decides to become a painter.

A new one man show, created by the actor Michael Bierman, shows Vincent Van Gogh from his childhood till the age of 27 when he decides to become a painter. The play is broken down into individual scenes that show the humor, sorrow, and madness
of this great artist. Michael Bierman throws himself into a fierce physical and emotional performance In this play that portrays Vincent living with his strict evangelical parents, his travels to many boarding schools, trying his hand at art dealing and finally his mental breakdown as a preacher. This play hopes to shed light on how a person who had cards stacked high against him pushed through and emerged as one of the greatest artists of all times.
Michael Bierman has been in television shows, films and commercials and many theatrical productions. He just completed an experimental film based on Anton Chekov’s play the Seagull.
