Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to a concert by ‘Case of two’ on Saturday 9.3 at 4:30pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11).

This duo have recently worked on an acoustic set of folk music by e.g. Joni Mitchell, Carol King, James Taylor, Feist, Neil Young and Don McLean. Julia Vuorinen (vocals) is an experienced professionally performing singer and a multi-talented musician from Lahti, and Pekka Somerto (vocals, guitar) from Helsinki has been involved in making and performing music most of this life outside the day job.

‘Case of two’ at Arkadia

‘Case of two’ bring an hour’s set of acoustic music to Arkadia on Thursday afternoon, March 9th at 16:30. They got started on the set originally from Joni Mitchell’s album Blue and the song A Case Of You on it – and the captivating sound of an instrument called mountain dulcimer that Joni plays on several tracks on the album. The set has grown by musical association to other great pieces mainly from the same era which has a growing following again.
