Louise Agnesdotter will read poems in Swedish from her new book “Den andra kön – retrospektiv“. Panu Artemjeff will play along with the poems and play his own songs from the coming record “The Boxer“, which he is recording with his band “Is This Really Me“.

Louise will read in Swedish, and Panu will sing in English.

Louise Agnesdotter läser ur sin nya bok “Den andra kön – retrospektiv” till ackompanjemang av Panu Artemjeff som också spelar låtar från kommande skivan “The Boxer”, som han gör tillsammans med sitt band “Is This Really Me”.

Louise Agnesdotter och Panu Artemjeff är grannar. När Louise skriver i köket hör hon hur Panu spelar och sjunger på andra sidan väggen. Steget var inte långt till att Panu skulle spela till Louises texter, och när Louises bok kom från tryck var Panus bands skiva “The Boxer” nästan färdig.

Louise flyttade till Finland från Sverige för 15 år sedan och ägnar sig på olika sätt åt det skrivna ordet. 2012 startade hon det egna förlaget “Turban förlag” och gav som första bok ut sin egen retrospektiva textsamling “Den andra kön”.Panu är sångare och gitarrist i bandet “Is This Really Me”.

Louise läser på svenska, och Panu sjunger på engelska.

Louise Agnesdotter and Panu Artemjeff are neighbours. When Louise sits in the kitchen writing, she can hear Panu playing and singing on the other side of the wall. The idea came naturally that Panu would also play when Louise reads her poetry. When Louise’s book was ready, Panu had together with his band almost finished the record “The Boxer”.

Louise has moved to Finland from Sweden and her life circles in many ways around writing and written words. During 2012 she sent her first book under the label of “Turban förlag” to print: her own book “Den andra kön – retrospektiv”.

Panu is a singer and guitar player in the folk band “Is This Really Me”.
