Dear friend of Arkadia, You are invited to ‘The Authority of Law’ by Ieva Kovarskyte on Thursday 10.11. at 6pm. What justifies law’s authority? Why do we adhere to law? Is there something above or beyond law that influences or limits it? Ieva will attempt to answer these questions by taking a look at history, legal theory and some more recent developments in Western legal systems. The talk will be in English. Welcome!
