Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to A Proudly South African Evening with Suzanne van Rooyen on Thursday 13.2 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

South Africa is known as the ‘rainbow nation’ for its cultural diversity, as a nation that triumphed over oppression and segregation. South African author, Suzanne van Rooyen, will be talking about why she is proudly South African and how her heritage has influenced her writing, specifically her brand new young adult novel, The Other Me – a story set in Johannesburg and inspired by her high school experiences.

So come and enjoy some South African wine, traditional treats and the music of this eclectic nation.

Welcome!

Warm regards,

Ian
