You are invited to the opening of Raw Impressions, an exhibition of photographs by Kimmo Arho, on Thursday 2.5 at 5pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

The exhibition will last from Friday 3.5 at noon to Wednesday 15.5 at 7pm.

The exhibition consists of five themes:

Strength and Power | Vahvuutta ja voimaa
Colour Delight | Väri-iloa
In the Clouds | Pilvessä
Out of the Blue | Äkkiarvaamatta
The Power of Nature | Luonnon voimat

By calling the exhibition ‘Raw Impressions’ the photographer wants to emphasize the fact that the photos (except one) have not been manipulated. In other words, what you will see/feel – is what he has seen/felt – through his camera lens, at The moment.

Antamalla näyttelylle nimen ‘Raw Impressions’ valokuvaaja haluaa korostaa sitä, että (yhtä lukuun ottamatta) kuvia ei
ole käsitelty. Toisin sanoen katsoja näkee juuri sen, mitä kuvaaja on nähnyt/kokenut kameransa linssin läpi, kuvan ottohetkellä.
