Thursday 4.11 at 6pm: Jazz concert by Trevor Lovett!
Dear Friend of Arkadia,
You are warmly invited to a jazz recital by Trevor Lovett on Thursday 4.11 at 6pm!
Stylistically, his playing reflects a blend of influences ranging from Bill Evans to Charles Ives, incorporating ideas from tight ‘inside’
playing as well as expressive and harmonic constructs from the free-jazz and new-classical worlds. .
Trevor is currently immersed in composing a song cycle about Finnish na-ture in winter and will be performing some of these pieces in addition to other originals and selected jazz standards.
Welcome!
Warm regards,
Ian
