Thursday 5.9 at 5pm: Climate anxiety / grief support organised by Rebecca Clamp at Arkadia

Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to join a Climate anxiety / grief support group organised by Rebecca Clamp on Thursday 5.9 at 5pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

This group is open to anyone suffering from climate anxiety or grief, and is a safe and non-judgmental environment to come and talk, listen and support each other. This is not an action group, nor will we be specifically looking at ways of solving climate change. The group is about sharing, and not judging, providing an opportunity to talk face-to-face with others, and acknowledging this crisis that impacts us all.

Please note that the scientific evidence for the climate emergency will not be debated in this group.

The event is organised by Rebecca Clamp, who is neither an expert on environmental issues, nor a therapist, just another person who is scared, and wishing for more opportunities for people to talk about climate change. Rebecca is a singer-songwriter-pianist and middle-school teacher, living in Helsinki, though originally from the UK.

The event will be in English.

Warm regards,

Entrance is free but a donation of €3 (or more!) for the bookshop to fund the event is suggested and would be most welcome. If you have no loose change or coins we gladly accept payment via Visa Electron or Mastercard etc.!
