The subject of Beatriz Bracher’s lecture is “O Que Existe é Literatura”. She will read excerpts of her books and discuss with the audience about literature and much else.
Beatriz Bracher was born in São Paulo in 1961. After studying Humanities, she was one of the driving forces behind the literature and philosophy magazine 34 Letras, and founded the publishing house 34 where she worked from 1992 to 2000. Apart from literature, she has written screenplays for feature films. Her novel ANTONIO came third in Brazil’s 2008 Jabuti Prize.
The event will be held in Portuguese.
