Tuesday 10.5 at 6pm at Arkadia: Encountering Burundian people and their culture in a changing world by Kerstin Sivonen

You are very welcome to visit us at: www.facebook.com / Arkadia International Bookshop and “like” us if indeed you do!

Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to Encountering Burundian people and their culture in a changing world by Kerstin Sivonen on Tuesday 10.5 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

Kerstin loves Burundi. She will offer glimpses of ordinary life in that country, of its nature, its music and of its joy and pains.

Kerstin is a doctor but will speak from the heart and not about my work or research. Kerstin has worked at an orphanage in Burundi and has visited Burundi every year since 2010. She has monitored the return of refugees and their reintegration that is supported by the Free church association (Frikyrklig samverkan) and the Finnish government.

Welcome!

Warm regards,

Ian

A donation of €3 (or more!) to fund the bookshop is suggested and would be most welcome. Arkadia wouldn’t exist without this act of generosity. If you have no loose change or coins we gladly accept payment via Visa Electron or Mastercard etc. !
