Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to ‘Carrington, the debauched bad boy’ on Tuesday 10.6 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

The poet, provocateur and all-around-badass is back for a second round. The first time he performed at Arkadia he performed as Troy Woodson. This time, however, he will perform as his alter ego, Carrington, the debauched bad boy. Carrington is hedonistic, selfish, and unapologetic.

Welcome!

Warm regards,

Ian

Carrington, the debauched bad boy

Carrington
’s poetry will offend, enlighten and delight. The poetry will share little known secrets that happened in the Bronx, Brooklyn and in Helsinki. The character was created in 2001 and allows the poet, Troy Woodson, to perform poetry that is both offensive and profane with complete freedom. Carrington believes that, as a performance artist, his job is to take the listener on a journey that will challenge beliefs and break down walls. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the performance. However, if you ask a provocative question you should be prepared for an uncomfortable answer.
