Dear friend of Arkadia, Welcome to the bookshop on Tuesday 1.6 at 6pm! The Film & Architecture Group will meet and discuss “Rear Window” by Alfred Hitchcock. This is a classic thriller which is filmed in a single architectural setting. During the film, the viewer becomes as familiar with the place as with the individual characters.  en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rear_Window What is the relationship between the place and the characters? How does the place become integrated with the plot? These and other questions will be discusses. A complete viewing of the film will not be possible during the discussion so it is hoped that those attending will be able to see the film beforehand. A copy of the film will be available so that short segments of the film may be watched. The discussion will be hosted by Richard Hogan from Avo Branding . All are heartily welcome!
