You are heartily invited to the screening of Ylösnousemus (Resurrection, 2008, 26 minutes) and Vesi väsyy lumen alle(Water under snow gets weary, 1993, 4 minutes) directed and written by Jari Nieminen on Tuesday 18.10 at 6pm.
Jari Nieminen has kindly accepted to present both works and talk of his new films.
The films are in Finnish and subtitled in English.

Ylösnousemus and Vesi väsyy lumen alle by Jari Nieminen
Ylösnousemus (Resurrection) is 26 minutes film about a suicidal bank manager. He finds joy of life and love again through dance. The film was shot in summer 2008, before the international bank crisis.
Vesi väsyy lumen alle (Water under snow gets weary) is a 4 minutes music fairytale film. The Shooting star boy rescues the Water drop girl from the power of the Frost man. The Film, shot in 1993, has been broadcasted on YLE TV 1 20 times in the past 17 years.
