Mercedes Krapovickas presents solos for bandoneon. She performs different traditional tangos arranged by different great bandoneonists (Ástor Piazzolla, Leopoldo Federico, Rodolfo Mederos) and by herself. She also plays new tango compositions exploring bandoneon poetics, which means, bandoneon ́s language, colors and effects. In the tradition of replaying classic repertoire, bandoneon arrangements are prisms where the echoes of the past arise along with a contemporary sound material.

Jukka-Pekka Lilja will accompany Mercedes with his guitar to continue this journey through the passionate sound world of Argentinian tango.
