Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are invited to a presentation and discussion on the Ebola crisis with Ferdinand Garoff on Tuesday 23.9 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

Ferdinand Garoff
was deployed by the Finnish Red Cross to Sierra Leone in June-July 2014 as Psychosocial delegate. In 2013-2014 he worked with Iraqi and Syrian torture and war trauma survivors for the Center for Victims of torture in their Jordan program and he has now returned to working for the Centre for Torture Survivors in Helsinki, Finland. He is also affiliated with the IFRC Psychosocial Center in Copenhagen and is former President of Finnish Psychologists for Social Responsibility.

Warm regards,

Entrance is free but a donation of €3 (or more!) to fund the bookshop is suggested and would be most welcome. Arkadia wouldn’t exist without this act of generosity. If you have no loose change or coins we gladly accept payment via Visa Electron or Mastercard etc.
