The songs are different characters’ viewpoints in a fleeting moment in time, set to a tune and rhythm.

Singer-songwriter Onni Päivänen will release his EP “SONGS FROM THE SOUTHERN CAPE / SÅNGER FRÅN SÖRNÄS”

The music is a guitar- and piano-driven mix of melodic pop/folk/semi-jazz with influences from e.g. Beatles, Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell. Päivänen thinks that the best thing in writing songs is that they never have to be ready – even a perfect thing can be shaken and moulded into something completely new.
