Three internationally acclaimed Finnish musicians join forces!

Based in Copenhagen and Helsinki the trio will interpret original melodies and texts

The concert is a set of improvised music with pre-arranged sections.

Johanna Elina Sulkunen ( voice) is based in Copenhagen since 2009 and is studying in the postgraduate program in Copenhagen, after studying in a jazz conservatory in Holland. She’s about to release her second solo album in the fall 2015. She is also active in a Danish Music Award winning experimental vocal group IKI.

Joonas Leppänen (drums) has landed back to Helsinki after having lived the past 6 years in Göteborg and Berlin and well known from groups Big Blue and several international jazz combinations.

Aki Rissanen (keys) is a well established jazz pianist in Helsinki with an international carreer both under his own name and as a co-leader/sideman.
