You are heartily invited to the opening of ‘Viaggio in Italia’ by painter Kalevi Liski on Tuesday 5.2 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11). The exhibition will end on Saturday 23.2 at 6pm.

Kalevi Liski (1937) made his career as a set designer for television (YLE), theatre and opera (The Finnish National Theatre, Finnish National Opera, Lahti City Theatre, Savonlinna Opera Festival etc.). His true passion, however, has always been painting, which he has pursued professionally after his retirement.

Liski works both with aquarelle and oil. His abstract paintings are renowned for the fullness of their colours and the sheer vividness of their light. Recently Kalevi has found much of his inspiration in Venice and Grassina, Italy.

Sparkling wine will be served.
