You are invited to the book launch of ‘Ja katsella hain hampaita’ (Kirjokansi 2016) by Helmi Järviluoma on Wednesday 14.9 at 5pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

Helmi Järviluoma on kulttuurintutkimuksen professori Itä-Suomen yliopistossa (s. 1960). Käsikirjoitus on musiikintutkijan koulutuksen saaneen kirjailijan ensimmäinen fiktioteos. Hänen tähänastinen julkaisupinonsa koostuu yli 160 artikkelista, kirjasta ja toimitetusta teoksesta erityisesti äänimaisematutkimuksen alalta. Hän on käsikirjoittanut, ohjannut ja/tai suomentanut kuusi taidetta ja tiedettä yhdistävää radiofeaturea YLE:n Radioateljeelle. Myös kolumneja syntyy tekijän kynästä.

After a few words by publisher Jussi Virratvuori, Helmi Järviluoma will be interviewed by author Marjo Heiskanen

Helmi Järviluoma is Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Eastern Finland, Joensuu (born 1960). The collection of short stories is the first fiction book of the author, who was trained as a music researcher. So far she has published over 160 articles, books, and edited collections especially in the area of soundscape studies. She has authored, directed, and/or translated six radio features for YLE’s radioateljee.
