Teemu Kupiainen studied at the Cologne University of Music and Mozarteum in Salzburg with professors Rainer Moog, Peter Schidlof, Norbert Brainin and Sandor Vegh. Kupiainen has performed as chamber musician in 30 countries, in about 1300 concerts. He teaches viola and chamber music at the University of the Arts Helsinki.
