Dear friend of Arkadia,

You are heartily invited to Jäniksen vuosi or Two French Girls on the Quest of Vatanen and His Rabbit on Wednesday 18.7 at 3pm at Old Arkadia (Pohjoinen Hesperiankatu 9A).

Reporters Marion Valadier and Catherine Robert are recording a partly fictitious radiophonic documentary about Arto Paasilinna and his most famous book Jäniksen vuosi.

They have followed its main character, Vatanen, himself on the trail of a wild rabbit, deep in Lapland.

The two adventuresses will present their work-in-progress and hope to meet among you witnesses of Vatanen quest in order to answer their two main unanswered questions : why did he break away from society and where is he today ?
