Katarina Sjöblom began her musical studies at Svenska Yrkeshögskolan (Finland), and then continued at Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium – Carl Nielsen Academy of Music (Denmark). Along with her current political science studies at University of Helsinki, Katarina is exploring ways of playing the violin in the most ergonomic and organic way possible. This has taken her on a trip to the world of movement and dance improvisation. She is interested in using these elements in combination with music.

Alicia Burns (USA) is completing a Singer’s Diploma Study at Snellman-korkeakoulu and an apprenticeship in the School of Uncovering the Voice, under the direction of Christiaan Boele, with guidance from Janneke Moes and Gerda Euskirchen. Additional studies include Holistic Concert production and presentation (Giorgia Ghizzoni). Inspired by nature, and by improvisation in dance and music, Alicia is exploring performance as a medium for meaningful social interactions.
