You are invited to a recital: Soprano Riitta Muikku- Piirainen and Pianist Ramin Rezaei will perform works by Persian composers on Wednesday 25.1 at 6pm at Arkadia (Nervanderinkatu 11)

Soprano Riitta Muikku- Piirainen and Pianist Ramin Rezaei will perform works by Persian composers such as Samin Baghcheban, Aminollah Hossein, Loris Tjeknavorian, Fouzieh Majd, as well as Iranian folk songs. This concert includes works for voice and piano, as well as solo piano.

Riitta Muikku- Piirainen has graduated 2007 from Lahti university of applied sciences, and made further studies (diploma) in 2012 in Oulu university of applied sciences. Years 2009-2011 she was singing the 1st soprano in Helsinki Philharmonic Choir. Recently she has concentrated on performing lied music of inter alia Jean Sibelius, Hugo Wolf, Richard Wagner and Serge Rahmaninoff. Riitta runs actively her own company focusing on music and music education. www.respiro.fi

Ramin Rezaei originally from Tehran, Iran, graduated in piano performance (2010) and in piano pedagogy (2013) from Lahti university of applied sciences, where he also studied Specialization in piano performance. Meanwhile he graduated in a postgraduate programme in piano from Lahti Conservatory (2013). Ramin has performed regularly in Finland, Iran, Italy and Argentina, and works as a piano teacher as well.
